It's been a long and cold winter here in Central City...the Shop has had it's days of emptiness and is ready to burst open for Spring! Though the weather man is predicting snow (after a beautiful day of 66!) we are all ready to shed the signs of winter and start to showcase our new ideas and creations in celebration of sunshine and tulips, dafs and new designs!

We are gearing up for the Saturday show, "WhiMsy!", sponsored by the Central City Area Chamber of Commerce. This will be the second round for this Event that showcases Independent Consultants, Home-based Businesses, artisans and much more. It was an exciting Saturday in October to be in a room surrounded by other artists, showcasing their creations...and provided an outlet for the Community (and beyond) to celebrate their talents and support their dreams!

I was offered an awesome opportunity prior to Christmas and was invited to help a local treasure lover clean out a shed that he acquired - it was loaded with incredible finds! From doors and windows, sleds and skates...to telephones, school desks and frams - Santa came early that year to B Inspired! Thanks, Rocky!

Becky, Simply Seasonal, is currently putting the final touches on her class schedule for the next few months. My favorite one is her idea of turning the old school desks into garden planters...can't wait to share the before and after pictures!

So, as the snow starts to fall, once again, we will continue to bring together new and clever ideas for old and worn-out treasures...

If you happen to be in town, please plan to stop by the Elementary School Gym on Saturday from 9am to 4pm and check out "WhiMsy!"...explore * discover * shop

First day at our new location

After much hard work, we have moved into our new location! It is exciting to see how are dream is coming true...hoping to bring opportunity for all who have a longing to get back in touch with their creative side!

From increased gallery space for the artists to showcase their creations and talents and studio space in which to work...to a sitting area for customers to relax with a steaming mug of coffee and classroom space to host large and small group instruction, the new shop has it all!

The decor of the building in and of itself sparks one's creative spirit...the ceilings are lined with beautiful tiles, intricately designed to take you back in time! We recently discovered the mezzanine level with block glass windows, incredible ceiling tile pattern and rich, oak flooring - just waiting to be exposed! All we need to do is pull down the pegboard/plywood walls that are hiding it's beauty...will be exciting to get out my tools and go!

The building is located in the heart of Central City on Main Street and features over 4000 square feet on the main level...continue exploring up the back stairs and you are amazed to find it double in size! Though the 2nd floor is in the rough stage, much potential lies in the front portion where new windows have been installed that will let in an incredible amount of light for our studio. With the installation of 6 ceiling fans in this room, along with the screened windows, it will be a breath of fresh air in the spring...and truly create an atmosphere to spark the imagination and soul!

Our next day open will be Wednesday...hope to get more information added to the sight, along with photos and Calendar of Events...
