It's been a long and cold winter here in Central City...the Shop has had it's days of emptiness and is ready to burst open for Spring! Though the weather man is predicting snow (after a beautiful day of 66!) we are all ready to shed the signs of winter and start to showcase our new ideas and creations in celebration of sunshine and tulips, dafs and new designs!
We are gearing up for the Saturday show, "WhiMsy!", sponsored by the Central City Area Chamber of Commerce. This will be the second round for this Event that showcases Independent Consultants, Home-based Businesses, artisans and much more. It was an exciting Saturday in October to be in a room surrounded by other artists, showcasing their creations...and provided an outlet for the Community (and beyond) to celebrate their talents and support their dreams!
I was offered an awesome opportunity prior to Christmas and was invited to help a local treasure lover clean out a shed that he acquired - it was loaded with incredible finds! From doors and windows, sleds and skates...to telephones, school desks and frams - Santa came early that year to B Inspired! Thanks, Rocky!
Becky, Simply Seasonal, is currently putting the final touches on her class schedule for the next few months. My favorite one is her idea of turning the old school desks into garden planters...can't wait to share the before and after pictures!
So, as the snow starts to fall, once again, we will continue to bring together new and clever ideas for old and worn-out treasures...
If you happen to be in town, please plan to stop by the Elementary School Gym on Saturday from 9am to 4pm and check out "WhiMsy!"...explore * discover * shop
